MEET THE MAN BEHIND THE MUSIC

The Mosh Petals is the latest music project from musician/singer/songwriter John Phillips. Featuring occasional collaborations with other writers and musicians, The Mosh Petals is dynamic, alternative rock. On the surface it has drive. Some songs highlight heavy drums, bass, and guitars, while others are rhythmical, and some more acoustic. But with all, the emphasis is on the vocals and harmonies. Ah what the hell…..it’s ROCK! A native of southern California, John moved to Colorado in his teens. His Colorado based projects performed all over the West including shows in Anchorage and Waikiki, and a tour of Japan, before taking time off for songwriting in Vancouver, BC. Eventually he successfully transplanted on the East Coast where he currently resides in Connecticut.
